CONGRATULATIONS – PILGRIM HOSPITAL DAY NURSERY celebrating 19 wonderful years of childcare this September! Pilgrim Hospital Day Nursery and Pre School is a purpose built nursery situated within the grounds of Pilgrim Hospital. We work in partnership with the Hospital to provide childcare for NHS Trust staff, and we are also open to the general public. We are a 59 place day nursery, with 15 under two spaces and 44 over two spaces. The nursery is open 7.00am – 6.00pm, Monday to Friday, 51 weeks a year (closing only for Bank Holidays and for Christmas week). We are a curriculum-enriched setting that operates in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), placing children at the centre of all planning, learning experiences, and daily practice with commitment to each child’s individual learning journey, providing a stimulating and enhancing environment where every child can thrive. Our meals are prepared by the Hospital and are well balanced and nutritional. We can cater for all dietary requirements. Good manners and social skills are encouraged at meal times and throughout our nursery day. Safeguarding is our highest priority and we are committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of every child in our care. We also actively promote British values throughout our nursery environment. Play is one of the main ways in which children learn. It helps to build self worth by giving a child a sense of his or her own abilities and to feel good about themselves. Because it’s fun, children often become very absorbed in what they are doing. In turn, this helps them develop the ability to concentrate.
We have a very affordable pricing plan and you may qualify for 30 hrs free please ring us for further advice.
