CONGRATULATIONS TO CARLTON DAY NURSERY – 19 wonderful years of childcare since January 2004
The Carlton Day Nursery /pre school is a purpose built nursery situated behind the Carlton Centre on Outer Circle Road Lincoln.
The Nursery/ pre school is registered for 64 children aged from birth to five years. We are open from 07.30am to 6.00pm, Monday to Friday. We provide nursery education funding for 3 and 4 year olds for 38 weeks per year for a maximum of 15 hours per week, maximum 6 hours per day. Some 3 and 4 year old children may be eligible for an additional 15 hours nursery education funding, for more information please discuss this with the Nursery Manager.

Play is one of the main ways in which children learn. It helps to build self worth by giving a child a sense of his or her own abilities and to feel good about themselves. Because it’s fun, children often become very absorbed in what they are doing. In turn, this helps them develop the ability to concentrate.
