Welcome to Broadway Day Care

Broadway Day Care has been at the heart of the local community since 2006, supporting children and their families with high-quality care and education in a warm, friendly, and nurturing environment.

Our purpose-built nursery welcomes children from just 6 weeks old through to school age. We have a spacious main room where children can explore, play, and learn together, alongside a dedicated area for our youngest children, with separate spaces for play, rest, and sleep. Every area of our nursery has been thoughtfully designed to help children feel safe, secure, and confident while encouraging their curiosity, independence, and love of learning.

At Broadway, we believe that every child deserves the very best opportunities, regardless of their needs, abilities, or background. We are proud to be an inclusive setting where every child is valued as an individual. By working closely with families and other professionals, we ensure children receive the support, care, and encouragement they need to flourish and reach their full potential.

We are committed to providing every child with the best possible start in life by creating a nurturing, stimulating, and language-rich environment which is underpinned by the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). We firmly believe that children learn best through play, exploration, and meaningful experiences.

Language and communication are at the heart of our curriculum because we know how important these skills are for children’s future success. Through high-quality interactions, storytelling, singing, conversation, and play, we aim for every child to leave Broadway with the confidence to express their needs, wants, ideas, and interests, giving them strong foundations for school and beyond.

We are proud to be a graduate-led nursery with a highly qualified and experienced team, including practitioners with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and Early Years Professional Status (EYPS). Our team is passionate about early childhood education and continually develops its skills through ongoing training, ensuring we provide the highest standards of care, teaching, and support for every child.

Opening Hours

We are open 51 weeks of the year, Monday to Friday, from 7:45am until 5:45pm, offering flexible childcare to support the needs of modern family life.

Funded Childcare

We offer funded childcare places for:

• Eligible 9-month-olds and 2-year-olds
• All 3 and 4-year-olds
• Families eligible for 30 hours funded childcare

Funding can be accessed either:

• Term-time only (38 weeks per year)
• Stretched across the year, allowing funded hours to be spread throughout the holidays
