Welcome to the County Hospital Day Nursery. We are based close to the historic cathedral quarter of the city, within the grounds of Lincoln County Hospital. We have been established as an onsite nursery since 1991, working closely with the ULH trust.
Our nursery environment enables us to build close relationships with our parents and children. With designated areas for each age group allowing them to grow and learn through stimulating and exciting surroundings. From our tiniest of babies to our inquisitive two years olds then through to our confident and independent three and four-year olds. The children can learn and explore at their own pace.
Our nursery garden is set on two levels, one offering lots of mud from our mud kitchen, speed from the tricycles and mess from the water area. Then onto the quiet and tranquil wild flower area. A time for stories, singing or exploring. Our snacks can be harvested from the fruit trees in the garden!
We would love the opportunity to show off our nursery, that we are so proud of. Please call to arrange a visit!!
We receive 15 hours nursery education funding for 3 and 4 yr olds, and for some eligible 2yr olds, for 38 weeks per year. Some 3 and 4 year old children may be eligible for an additional 15 hours nursery education funding, for more information please discuss this with the Nursery Manager.
